First Year Advising Center
The First Year Advising Center fosters exploration and growth as new students transition to college. We provide tailored services and connections to campus resources that empower students to define their educational goals and achieve academic success.
FYAC at-a-glance:
All students are required to attend an advising session every semester to make sure they are on the right path toward academic success. We offer two options to fulfill this requirement: group advising or individual advising.
- We recommend you take advantage of our group advising sessions if you are interested in the following major areas:

- Business
- Engineering and Computer Science
- Pre-Med/Health
- Pre-Law
- Nursing
- Students in other majors or those who prefer an individual appointment can schedule with an adviser.
